This is a plant-derived product that is gentle on the skin, made by combining the fragrant and high quality essential oils of the Japanese cypress with plant extracts.

It does not use any petroleum-derived surfactants nor silicons (uses amino acid surfactants)

Forest therapy is said to have deep relaxation effects. This is because the Japanese cypress trees and leaves release a volatile compound called "Monoterpene". Focusing on this compound, we extracted essential oils from the Kiso cypress leaves and branches to formulate this product. Let it fill your bathroom with the rich fragrance of Japanese cypress and heal you.

When cutting down Japanese cypress from the mountains, the leaves and branches are cut off, but we found that these leaves and branches are the ones which are able to provide healing, beauty, and health to people. Fully utilizing the Kiso Cypress without wastage using the know-hows of a wood processing company, we hope to contribute to the conservation of forests for the future of the Earth.

The packaging of the conditioner is aesthetically pleasing and elegant.
The effect of the conditioner is good, it leaves my hair nourished and soft after using.
Also, I like the scent of the conditioner, it makes me feel relaxed after a long day of work.

Smells great but not as hydrating as I hoped

Hinoki-infused haircare is all the rage these days, so I was excited to try this conditioner. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations as it doesn't seem to be as hydrating as many other conditioners I've used. My hair gets dry very easily and not only did the effects not last me through the day, the immediate effect was also so-so for me. Perhaps it's more suitable for those who have less damaged hair.

I must say that this product smells great though! There's a very calming, herbaceous scent to it that reminds me of a spa.
